Exchange Policy In-store and Online

 

  • Jewellery for exchange within 2 days of receiving order must be in original purchase condition.

  • Jewellery can be exchanged only once within the 2 days time period.

  • Exchange or upgrade of jewellery is permitted, only upon presentation of the original purchase invoice.

  • Gold jewellery can be exchanged either for gold jewellery or diamond jewellery.

  • No guarantee of manufacturing.

  • Any nose jewellery is not exchangeable even within 2 days (gold or diamond).

  • Customized Jewellery or Altered jewellery is ineligible for exchanges or refunds.

  • Exchanges requested on promotional products and products sold on special offers will be carried out using the non-promotional pricing of the product.

 

Within 2 Days of Receiving Your Order

 

Gold Jewellery: Can be exchanged either for gold or diamond jewellery, or store credit equal to invoiced amount of the jewellery items. No cash refunds.

Diamond Jewellery: Can be exchanged either for diamond jewellery, or diamond store credit equal to invoiced amount of the jewellery items. No cash refunds.

 

After 2 Days & Within 1 Year of Receiving Your Order

 

Gold Jewellery: Can be exchanged either for gold or diamond jewellery, or store credit after deduction of manufacturing costs, stone weight and the applicable per gram reduction in gold price as per our calculation from the prevailing international gold rate. No cash refunds. 

Diamond Jewellery: Can be upgraded for new diamond jewellery after deduction of 45% of invoice amount of the jewellery items. No cash refunds.

Any gifts issued at the time of purchase should be returned at the time of exchange of the product or the value of the gift will be deducted accordingly.

All local taxes and duties (as applicable) at the point of exchange should be borne by the customer.

JH Jewellers reserves the right to exercise discretion in permitting all returns and exchanges.

 

Local Exchange - UAE only

Exchange items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and have undergone a quality control check. Alternatively, if you see something on our e-store that would like to receive in exchange, you can simply place an order request via email or Whatsapp expressing the SKU number and we will guide on the exchange process. 

 

International Exchange

Exchange requests received outside of the UAE are subject to product availability; however, any shipping costs for such exchanges including import taxes and duties will be borne by the customer. Any item that shows signs of wear or has been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than the company), or damaged cannot be accepted for our Exchange policy.

 

Steps to Initiate an Exchange:

1. Your exchange item must arrive at our office no later than 10 days after you receive the order.

After this time we cannot guarantee that the item will be accepted for exchange.

2. We strongly recommend that you book your exchange pick-up within 2 days of receiving your order to ensure that it arrives in our office within 10 days. Please contact our customer care for further queries.

3. Once your exchange item has been received by our team and it complies with our exchange policy, we will provide you with a store credit for the same amount. The item must be returned to us with the purchase invoice and original packaging to ensure the necessary protection when in transit.

4. Items must be exchanged unworn, undamaged, and unused with original tags attached. If an item comes with a security tag this must be left on. If the security tag is removed then the returned item will not comply with the exchange policy and will not be exchanged;

5. Exchanged items will be exchanged excluding the cost of shipping

6. We do not accept returns for nose jewellery of any type, nor for any bespoke or made-to-order jewelry for hygiene purposes and the nature of the product.

7. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

8. For exchanges, If the item is not as per our satisfactory standard we are permitted to reduce the store credit amount by the reduction in the value of the item.

 

After Your Exchange Is Received

Exchanges are processed on weekdays and typically entered into our system within 24 business hours of receipt. Once entered into our system you will receive a confirmation email alerting you that your return has been passed along to our Quality Assurance department. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for this process to complete.

If you are expecting an exchange, orders paid for through PayPal will be credited back to your PayPal account within 2 working days. 

If you are expecting a return shipment, you will receive an email once the outbound shipment date has been set. You will also receive a shipping confirmation email on the day of the outbound shipment.

 

Defective or Damaged

If the order sent by us is damaged in transit, please contact customer care as soon as possible. We will replace, repair or refund the item contingent on our shipping partner’s cooperation.
